The Elementary Program

ELEMENTARY:

The program is open to all students who have learning challenges in the following categories:

ADD, ADHD or combination type AD/HD

Autism (High Functioning)

GDD (has undergone early intervention)

Mild retardation

Learning disabilities

 

Grade placement will depend on previous placement or what ever level the evaluation (by the school) will indicate.

 

There is no repeat of grade level.

 

Accommodations, or activities and approaches that enable the child to learn despite his challenges are built in and integrated into the class activities.

 

Interventions are done during pull-out sessions, after school, or during remediation periods which is part of their class schedule.

 

The maximum number of students per class is 6.

 

Curriculum is DepEd-prescribed and should the child be ready for mainstreaming in a regular school, his grade promotion and placements are as with regular schools.

 

Class Schedule:

Grades 1-3  1:00 -5:00 pm daily

Grades 4-6   7:15 am - 12:15 pm daily
